We are aproaching – for many people – the most beautiful time of the year – Advent. Cities, homes, classrooms are getting decorated, we are happily expecting Christmas and enjoy evenings full of Christmas lights.
Advent practicing
But for young musicians this period can be very challanging for their practicing. More and more obligations, activities and events, thedays are too short… Here’s one little thing that can help – Advent Practice Calendar! Print it out and for each day of practice paint one ball on the Christmas tree (or put a sticker or a stamp…). After 24 balls, there comes the Christmas Star! Maybe for Christmas Day you could share the joy with your family and friends and play for them some lovely composition you have practiced this Advent?
