Free violin tuner and metronome

In a violin lesson you often need something right now: tune the violin, start a metronome, show a parent which size to buy, or give a student a quick note game. So we built free tools for violin teachers that run in the browser – on phones, tablets and computers, with no install and no sign-up.

Violin tuner 442 Hz

The tuner plays each string (G, D, A, E) at A = 442 Hz and shows the pitch you are playing, so students hear the target and see whether they are sharp or flat.

Metronome 30–200

The metronome has a wooden click and a light signal, and the tempo goes up or down with one tap – perfect for gradual speed-ups.

Which violin size?

The size guide suggests the violin and bow size from arm length, in cm and inches. Send the link to parents before they buy or rent.

Where are the fingers?

An interactive fingerboard showing positions 1–5 in six keys, with a quiz and a certificate.

Notko and lesson games

Notko is a note reading game for kids, and the Violin Game Deck holds 38 beginner games sorted by teaching area, with common mistakes and the games that fix them.

Printables

Need lesson plans, practice charts and posters as well? See The Violin Teacher Toolbox.
